Our Story

Since its inception in 1994, Prism Electric has earned a reputation for quality based on our successful track record. It is a reputation built on integrity, performance and the hard work of our dedicated employees, who are devoted to providing superior service. Today Prism is ranked as the 9th largest electrical contractor in Texas with offices across Texas and Oklahoma. Our highly skilled managers, estimators, superintendents, tradesmen and support staff possess the knowledge necessary to effectively deliver your project.

Prism Electric has a solid portfolio of successful projects ranging in size and complexity from simple, one-day projects to multi-million dollar, technical projects. Our experience has grown from the highly complex healthcare industry to include commercial, industrial, institutional, and high tech industries. In addition to project work, we provide our clients with ongoing, 24-hour a day customer service.

Prism Electric offers comprehensive design-build and design-assist services, general contractors have come to appreciate our ability to bring solutions to the challenges of their projects. Even projects that don’t require our design-build or design-assist services benefit from our extensive experience coming from our common early involvement in the preconstruction phase of projects. We believe these services are significant given the intricacy and technical nature of our portfolio of successful projects completed. We offer exemplary preconstruction services, including conceptual estimating, cost management engineering, purchasing strategies for long-lead items, project scheduling analysis, constructability reviews and developing project strategies that ensure the quality allowed by the project budget meets the owner’s expectations. In addition, we are well versed in the application of three dimensional and BIM (Building Information Modeling) for coordinating and identifying building system conflicts.
